If you are a fan of geology or just want to have a deep insight onto the world of hydrothermal caves and underground hot springs, this tour is for you. The package contains a 45 minute easy walk into the Szemlő-hegyi-cave and a climbing crawling adventure into the Pál-völgyi-cave system.
The tour should be booked two-three days earlier.
The tour costs 30,000 HUF/person.
The temperature in the caves remains at a constant 10 °C (50 °F) all year. Light pullover and comfortable trousers are enough under the overalls. The caves are dry during the year.
The caves are located 30 min by bus or 15 min by taxi from the city center.
The participants should be in good physical health. The tour is strongly not recommended for very overweight people.
Age limit is 8-55 yrs children under 14 years need an approval from their parent to participate on the tour if the parent is not present at the tour. The form can be downloaded from here: Parental approval form
Minimum number of participant is two persons.
Total lenght of the tour is 4 hrs.
The guides refuse the participation of persons under the influence of alcohol or drugs!
You don’t need to have any previous experience in caving but you can take part in the tour only at your own risk.
